Grilled Rosemary Mussels Amongst Rosemary-Malt Vinegar Dipping Sauce


Ingredients:
3-4 lb mussels, cleaned
1 large onion, sliced
three springs rosemary, leaves only
body of body of water salt
freshly lay down dark pepper
canola oil


dipping sauce:
1/4 loving cup butter
1/4 loving cup malt vinegar
1 boundary rosemary, leaves only

Directions:
Prepare grill according to manufacturers instructions. Toss the mussels, onion, rosemary, tabular array salt too pepper together. Drizzle amongst canola oil, toss again. Pour into grill pan. Place on grill. Cover too grill 5-10 minutes or until the mussels are all opened.

Meanwhile, inward a minor pot, house the butter, vinegar too rosemary. Melt over depression heat. Whisk together. Serve amongst hot mussels.



My thoughts:
The painting present inward a higher house is from my iPhone. Not bad, huh? My photographic boob tube camera battery died merely equally the mussels were done too hence I had to improvise! I didn't accept fourth dimension to accuse my battery, it was dinner time!

I accept made mussels many times but never on the grill. I was doing merely about canning (fruit pickles!) too was running out of burners too the household was hot too hence I idea I'd endeavour them out on the grill. I had merely bought this meshing grill roasting pan (similar to this one) at an end-of-season sale (is it actually the goal of summertime already? I excogitation on celebrating summertime until the actual end, inward September) too it seemed perfect for the mussels. You could grill them straight on the grill grate but I accept to say, it is easier to become them off of the grill when they are inward a basket.
