My thoughts:
Thanksgiving leftover recipes are perchance the recipe I expect frontwards to creating each year. While I dearest the leftover turkey in addition to cranberry sauce sandwich every bit much every bit whatsoever one, coming upward amongst clever alternative sandwiches in addition to other recipes is ever a fun challenge. This year, I wanted to piece of occupation upward leftover turkey, Gorgonzola (from my awesome Brussels sprouts dish), unopen to salad odds in addition to ends in addition to bacon leftover from breakfast. My showtime idea was to brand a big salad but in addition to thence I got to thinking nearly how it is mutual to encounter a Caesar salad-inspired sandwich or wind but never the Cobb. I mean value the Cobb makes to a greater extent than feel than Caesar every bit a sandwich. It naturally has to a greater extent than sandwich-friendly ingredients similar chicken, avocado, tomato plant in addition to lettuce than the pretty much only lettuce Caesar.
I subbed turkey for the traditional poached chicken in addition to made a creamy spread using similar ingredients to the famous Cobb dressing in addition to the Roquefort that unremarkably tops a Cobb salad.
The spread was much improve suited for a sandwich than a sparse vinaigrette. YUM! Perfect piece of occupation of leftovers for turkey sandwich lovers but non the same old, same old.
