body of body of water salt

Directions:
Saute onions as well as peppers inwards olive crude inwards large skillet until onions are translucent, nearly v minutes. Add the garlic, turkey, as well as dry soil spices. Saute until the turkey is brown, breaking upwardly whatever large pieces amongst the dorsum of a spoon. Add fresh oregano, pepper sherry, as well as tomatoes. Cook on medium estrus for fifteen minutes uncovered. Add olives as well as currants as well as gear upwardly for v to a greater extent than minutes. At this point, the liquid should bring trim as well as then the dish looks good sauced but non soupy. If at that spot is besides much liquid gear upwardly for an additional v - 10 minutes or until the liquid reduces further. Serve over white rice.

My thoughts:
Matt is ever trying to come upwardly up amongst novel things to pack for his lunches during the week. He makes a lot of rice cooker meals but occasionally branches out into skillet meals that reheat well. This is what he came upwardly amongst for this week. It is lighter version of Cuban picadillo (turkey instead of dry soil beef) as well as at that spot roughly adjustments for personal sense of savour similar zante currants instead of raisins as well as our favorite cubanelle as well as Anaheim peppers instead of  bell peppers but it tastes really much similar the existent affair simply a chip sharper. Of course, you lot don't bring to brand this for lunches (we got 3-4 days worth of lunches out of it),  it makes a corking quick dinner every bit well.

Note: Normally I would serve this over/with rice but Baltimore had a horrible tempest this weekend as well as land nosotros had power, nosotros ran out of rice as well as on the agency out of the neighborhood, someone hitting my car. We're fine but the motorcar isn't as well as then no rice was purchased inwards fourth dimension for the picture. But serve it on rice!
