Ethereal Lemon Frosting


Ingredients:
two cups sugar
1/2 loving cup lemon juice
iv egg whites
pinch common salt
zest 1 lemon

yellowish nutrient coloring, if desired

Directions:
In a medium saucepan, select sugar, zest too lemon juice to a boil, stirring occasionally. Continue to boil until it reaches soft ball phase (when a drib of the syrup forms a soft ball when dropped inwards cool water) spell continuing to stir occasionally. My thoughts:
I dear this frosting! Citrus is at its summit during the wintertime too I dear taking payoff of that too making to a greater extent than or less actually citrus packed recipes. This frosting is low-cal too fluffy-almost marshmallowy- only has a strong, truthful lemon flavor. Sort of similar a lemon meringue pie inwards frosting form. It is perfect on lemon cupcakes or fifty-fifty apparently vanilla.
