Homemade Rice-A-Roni


Ingredients:
one clove garlic, minced
one shallot, minced
two cups chicken stock
3/4 loving cup long grain white rice
1/2 loving cup broken vermicelli or angel pilus pasta
one tablespoon butter
one tablespoon minced Italian parsley
salt
pepper

Directions:
Melt the butter inwards a saucepan that has a lid. Saute the pasta, rice, garlic too shallot until the pasta starts to brown. Add the remaining ingredients. Stir. Bring to a boil. Reduce the oestrus too simmer, covered for fifteen minutes or until the liquid is absorbed. Fluff amongst a fork.

My thoughts:
For this recipe, I did something I usually don't do; I made a homemade version of a nutrient that has never been anything but a commercially made, shelf stable product. While the San Francisco process tin hold upwards oddly comforting too sure quick to make, it is likewise on the salty too bland side. Making it at dwelling is simply equally quick but much to a greater extent than flavorful.
