Shrimp, Radish & Hearts Of Palm Salad
Ingredients:
1 stem celery, thinly sliced
fourteen oz jarred hearts of palm, sliced
1 bunch minor cherry-red radishes, thinly sliced
greens from i bunch radish, torn (if large)
for the dressing:
1 shallot, minced
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 loving cup mayonnaise
ii 1/2 tablespoons Dijon mustard
1 1/2 tablespoons horseradish
ii tablespoons lemon juice
1/4 teaspoon celery seed
zest from 1 lemon
tabular array salt
freshly solid soil dark pepper
for the shrimp:
ii lb large shrimp
1 1/4 loving cup H2O
ii bay leaves
1 tablespoon dark peppercorns
1 tablespoon xanthous mustard seeds
Directions:
Bring the water, bay leaves, peppercorns together with mustard seeds to a boil inwards a large, lidded pot. Add shrimp. Cover together with boil until fully cooked. Drain. Allow to cool slightly therefore peel. Place the shrimp inwards a large bowl. Set aside to cool further. Whisk together the dressing ingredients inwards a minor bowl. Set aside. Add the celery, hearts of palm, radishes together with greens to the shrimp. Toss to evenly distribute all ingredients. Drizzle amongst dressing, toss i time to a greater extent than to coat. Refrigerate xxx minutes to ii hours prior to serving.
