Caramel Pecan Pie
36 Kraft caramels (individually wrapped kind)
¼ loving cup butter
¼ loving cup milk
½ loving cup white sugar
3 eggs
½ teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon salt
1 loving cup chopped pecans
9" Shortbread pie crust (recipe below)
In a saucepan amongst a heavy bottom, oestrus caramels, butter, together with milk over depression oestrus (keep stirring) until melted together with smooth. Remove from oestrus together with gear upward aside.
Stir together sugar, eggs, vanilla together with salt; add together melted caramel mixture gradually. Stir inward chopped nuts together with pour into unbaked piecrust. Bake inward preheated 350° oven for 45 to l minutes or until crust is golden. Remove from oven together with let to cool until filling is firm.
SHORTBREAD PIE CRUST: In large electrical mixer bowl, mix i loving cup flour (spoon into loving cup together with degree off), ½ loving cup butter flavored Crisco, i teaspoon saccharide together with ¼ teaspoon of salt. Mix until crumbly. While mixer is running, add together 2 tablespoons H2O ice water, i tablespoon of beaten egg together with ¾ teaspoon white vinegar. Beat until dough forms a ball. Use fingers to press dough into 9” pie plate (and upward the sides). I purpose a two-piece 9” tart pan.
