Cauliflower Cheese
Ingredients:
i medium-large caput cauliflower, cutting into florets
half-dozen oz extra abrupt cheddar, grated
ii 3/4 cups whole milk
three tablespoons butter
1/4 loving cup flour
1/2-1 teaspoon dry out mustard (to taste)
freshly terra firma dark pepper
kosher salt
ii tablespoons staff of life crumbs
Directions:
Bring a large pot of H2O to boil. Add the cauliflower too develop until fork tender, well-nigh five minutes. Drain. Place cauliflower inwards a 2-quart casserole. Set aside.
In the same pot or a novel saucepan, melt the butter. Whisk inwards the flour until but starting to brown. Add the milk too spices too whisk until smoothen too starting to thicken well-nigh 3-5 minutes. Remove from heat. Stir inwards 3/4 of the cheese. Whisk or stir until smooth.
Pour over the cauliflower. Sprinkle the remaining cheese over the top. Sprinkle alongside breadcrumbs. Bake, uncovered for twenty minutes or until browned too bubbly. Serve immediately.
