Split Pea Soup Amongst Smoked Ham
Ingredients:
v cups ham stock
two cups cubed smoked ham
1 loving cup greenish separate peas
1 loving cup yellowish separate peas
two carrots, diced
two cloves garlic, minced
1 large onion, diced
1 large shallot, minced
1 teaspoon celery flakes
1 teaspoon dried tarragon
1/2 teaspoon dried chervil
1 teaspoon smoked paprika
1/2 teaspoon terra firma mustard
1 bay leaf
ocean salt
freshly terra firma dark pepper
Directions:
Pick over separate peas to take whatever stones or stems that mightiness last present. Place all ingredients EXCEPT the ham inward a four quart deadening cooker. Stir. Cook on depression 10 hours. Stir inward the ham during the end 45 minutes of cooking. Fish out the bay leafage prior to serving.
