Holy Trinity Pizza Sauce


Ingredients:
ane onion, minced
ane stem celery, finely diced
ane cubanelle pepper, finely diced
ane clove garlic, minced
28 oz canned crushed tomatoes
two tablespoon olive oil
ane 1/2 teaspoons parsley
freshly soil dark pepper
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper

Directions:
In a large saucepan, saute the onions, celery, pepper together with garlic, inwards olive oil, 3-5 minutes or until fragrant. Add tomatoes together with spices together with stir. Cook 30-40 minutes on depression or until thickened to the request when y'all function a spoon across the bottom of the pan "parting" the sauce together with near no liquid trickles into the middle.


My thoughts:
In Lousiana, onions, peppers together with celery are called the holy trinity because they shape the base of operations of many local dishes similar gumbo, étouffée, dirty rice together with jambalaya.
